Megazone is a laser battle game where three teams are competing by shooting each other and destroying the opponents' bases. The megazone venue is a 600 sqm maze with an impressive sound system which we'll be using to play music various from finnish electronic music artists and labels. Each participating team will bring 12 minutes of music which will be played as the soundtrack for the laser battle.

Prepare you lasers and join the sports event of the year! In addition to having a super surround sound experience you can also try to shoot the artist(s)!

The three best players from each match can also participate the

At the end of the night, the label artists/festival organisers will also meet in special deathmatch 2004 league series.

There is a very limited amount of tickets available for the matches. In each match there are 3 teams with 8 members in each team, the matches are 12 minutes long and the tickets cost 5 euro. You should show up at megazone 15 minutes before the start of your match! The three best players from each match can also participate the SILMU Ultimate Challenge (25 minutes long!) for free.

Most of the tickets will be sold during Koneisto festival and ISEA 2004 cruise, you can contact the artists or katastro.fi people to ask for tickets. You can also e-mail deathmatch2004@juhuu.nu if you want to make a reservation (leave your e-mail, phonenumber and information of which match you would like to attend). Unfortunately we cannot confirm the reservations before Thursday 19th August.
