12.8. K2V The second anniversary of katastro.fi is upon our sorry asses. "We didn't land on k.fi. K.fi landed on US!" On this date this momentous occurrence will be celebrated in a dignified manner at an undisclosed location. Keep your eyes peeled for convoys of black limos, police escorts, papparazzis in helicopters and the like. That won't be us. It''l be Whitney Houston trying to score some horse tranquilizers...

4.-5.8. Koneisto The k.posse will be in evidence on so many levels at this festival. We're talking about enough nu mediah to make your gums bleed from here to next Tuesday. Look for Giant Robot, brothomStates, visuals... drunk designers, math nerds in dreadlocks and more art than you can shake your dick at.

14.7. Giant Robot plays the hallowed Tavastia Klubi in Helsinki. Visuals will be provided by juhuu@katastro.fi. This show will see a return to old skool robotix as the boys indulge in dubby monotonia for the first time in a 'coon's age.

12.6. The 10th City Project starts showing signs of life. The indefatigable web hippies of k.fi are here to make you feel warm and cuddly while your eyes are scorched by monitor burn and the sweet effervescence of refresh rate headaches. Your IT-ravaged body will be forgotten and left behind as you bask in the light of our love and experiences. Be a part of it before it's too late.

13.5. Kukanpäivän Lempiö
For a healthy, refreshing dose of bawdy women and the pro-feminist men who love them, don't miss this party. Come see the Testicles, Hanna Kaila and Kipusiskot tear up the house. Guaranteed to leave you limp and drained, boehs and gurlz!

...out of hand

5.5. katastro.fi area is officially opened today. It's a part of Artgenda in Helsinki. To witness the miracle of WAP, k.fi-style, saunter over to the Töölönlahti Makasiinit or destroy your pitifully inadequate home computer with the incredible personal interface...just click on the area link up over there, whence you came, bro.

April 2000...katastro.fi SELLS OUT!!! Ilmarinen, a mutual pension insurance company, bought assorted works of art produced by the k.fi cadre for their 1999 Annual Report. The print version, boys and girls, the print version. Don't ask us what this means. We were only doing our job. We pledge allegiance to the Hype. If the insurance industry wants a piece, who are we to deny them? Stop looking at me like that...
